Many of our Community-Based Mental Health Services are available only to people who are eligible to receive support through the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH). However, some of Vinfen’s Mental Health services can be accessed by self-referral. These services include Clubhouses, Recovery Learning Centers (RLCs), and young adult services provided at access centers including YouForward locations in Lawrence and Everett and at YouthQuake in Lowell.

Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services are available to people who are eligible to receive support through several different partners and funders including the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS), MassHealth, Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB), Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and various cities and towns. Additionally, all services are eligible for private pay and other funding sources.

To be approved for state-funded services, please contact your state agency. Once determined eligible, we will coordinate referrals to Vinfen and other appropriate service providers.

The Autism Support Center is designed to provide an array of information and referral services, resources, and supports to children and young adults up to age 22 with autism and their families.

The Center also offers Autism Support Broker services for children up to the age of 9 who are enrolled in the Department of Developmental Services’ Autism Waiver Program (AWP) for Children.

Behavioral Health Services are self-referral. To schedule an appointment or make a referral for outpatient services, contact Vinfen’s outpatient clinics Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. by calling 978-674-6744.

Brain Injury Services are available to people who are eligible to receive support through several different partners and funders including the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS), the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), and various cities and towns. Additionally, all services are eligible for private pay.

Vinfen supports individuals on one of three waivers: the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) waiver, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) waiver, or Moving Forward Plan (MFP) waiver. To be eligible for a waiver, a person must meet certain eligibility criteria. To see if you are eligible, please click here.
