ACCREDITATION

As a leading community health and human services organization in Massachusetts and Connecticut, Vinfen is licensed, certified, and accredited by regulatory entities to provide high quality services to support people with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.

Vinfen was awarded its 12th consecutive three-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in 2019. This accreditation, which runs from October 2019 to October 2021, is the maximum level offered by CARF. CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation.

Vinfen’s programs for people with mental health conditions are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and approved by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Our mental health services in Massachusetts are certified for Medicaid Rehabilitation Option billing.

Our programs for people with intellectual and development disabilities are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services and the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services. Our day habilitation services in Massachusetts are certified under Medicaid.

Vinfen's Behavioral Health Clinics are licensed through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH).
